Rumor: Verizon rushing to get their 4g network up
TechCrunch reporting that Verizon is “racing” to get their 4g networks up in different areas. In time for Q1 2010, rumored to be the same time Apple may make a Verizon iPhone and come out with a Tablet. Could this be the end of AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity? I certainly hope so because that would bring completion from the other networks, on how they price the plans they give to iPhone users. But that also means Apple would have to put GSM and CDMA inside of it, which can be done. Apple could also make the phone available on all of the top networks. That means T-Mobile and Sprint; it would be really great for the costumers if the iPhone weren’t just on AT&T. A lot of current iPhone users can’t stand AT&T’s coverage. I personally hope the iPhone goes to Sprint even though I’m on Verizon right now, which I hate. Where I live the call reception for Verizon is horrible, and the family plans for Sprint are really good. Well that’s another discussion in it’s self.
